I know you have probably heard this a million times, but I truly am a very big Lucy fan. Since I was a baby, I was brought up on I love Lucy and I have been watching ever since. We sit and watch at least 1 episode a day, to remind us of yesterday and the simple things in life that made us happy. Lucy represents yesterday and today by the simple expressions of happiness given by the cast.
You and your brother should be honored to allow us to continue to enjoy your funny parents and their cast. It allows people to go into their little escape of a world and forget for 30 minutes the greater problems that exist in the world today, and you and your brother made that possible, in 2007. I can only hope that the legacy will be continued into the next generation and so on and so on, by the family, to allow the public to continue to teach our children that funny does not equal dirty.
It is also wondeful to see their children enjoying the legacy that they created and how great you both must feel to know that your parents have been enjoyed by millions, and this was their calling, right, wrong or indifferent.
Thank you for allowing us into your lives by sharing your parents with us, I know that must have been very hard for both of you, but at least you get to reap the rewards of their legacy far after they are gone and still allow the public to share with you.
